APAC was incorporated in the state of Georgia in 1985 as a non-profit, non-partisan social organization. It is an umbrella organization of organizations such as Bangladesh Association, Center fro Pan Asian Community Services, Filipino American Association of Greater Atlanta, Indian American Cultural Association, Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta, Organization of Chinese Americans, Nepalese Association in southeast America, Taiwanese Association of America, Japanese American Citizens Pakistan American society of Atlanta, Vietnamese American Association, Thai Association World Center USA, Laotian American Society, Malaysian Association of Georgia.
